Shibaki

Shibaki, in all his lives except his first, is a very happy-go-lucky type of boy, always looking at the bright side of things and always knowing things would get better. It is very hard to anger the boy but, when he does get angry, better hide your faces since that's the first thing he'll want to sink he sharp teeth into! He is very protective and affectionate towards those he loves and is willing to do anything to make sure they are safe and sound (although on most cases Shibaki is the one that needs saving). He, like most dogs, has a great dislike for cats and a very big love for bright red balls which he will never get tired of no matter what happens. He hats baths, but is always forced to take one on the account he can't sleep in the house if he doesn't. He gets along with most people, trusting most almost quickly and is quite friendly if you are friendly as well.
Background:
Shibaki wasn't born as a kemonomimi at first, but he was an actual brown puppy ( He was a mutt, looking something like this: [link] ) but didn't really live long. Actually, he only lived a few days since he was the runt of the litter and wasn't given as much nutrition as his other brothers and sisters which eventually lead to his very slow and sad death. However, a certain heavenly being wasn't very satisfied with how the life of the young puppy was written and decided to bring him back to life, or rather, from the dead since such an action could have dire consequences. He was now a spirit wandering the Earth in the form of a puppy, slightly larger than what he was when he died. He didn't know why he couldn't cross to the other side, and desperately tried to find the reasons but he just couldn't seem to figure it out until one stormy night. While Shibaki, not really his name at the time since nobody bothered to give him one, was trying to shield himself from the horrors of the harsh weather, he might a kind young man who was willing to take him in. The poor pup was weak and shivering, he also looked sick but the small creature knew he couldn't die but it still felt pretty bad to get a fever. The human took him in and cared for him, giving him all the love and affection he was never given before and eventually gained enough strength to turn into his human form which he can do with enough strength in his body. The man who took him in, Hiroto, cared for the kemonomimi and gave him his original name Shibaki and eventually got used to having the dog-human around. He was the one who taught Shibaki how to speak fluently and even manage a decent conversation (although it was hard for Hiroto to keep talking with Shibaki always pouncing on him when the boy had the chance). However, things began to take a little spin into another direction when their platonic love turned into something more and they eventually learned something a little more meaningful and lived a very much happy life, something Shibaki never thought he could ever have. This continued until they both lived a full life and eventually passed away with the heavenly being, who was watching Shibaki, wanting to bring him back but a certain someone living in the underworld having a...much more interesting plan for the boy. He caught his spirit and brought him back to Earth, but this time he brought the boy back to life, meaning he was going to start his life all over again without the memories of what happened before. And this will be the start of his curse.

The underworld being knew that, when the soul is brought back to life, a consequence needs to be accounted for. Shibaki will be destined to live a very happy and wonderful life, filled with so much love and care from those around him, but he will also go through few but heart-breaking and mentally scarring traumas that will leave the boy broken and not to mention that he will live a short life, dying a slow and painful death. Of course, the boy is unaware of this and just lived his life as if it was his first.

In his third life, he was born as a kemonomimi this time but cannot turn into his puppy form. He used to live with a human named Charley until he came across a very unusual individual by the name of Gorell. They looked like they wouldn't get along, at all. But, as time passed and they were forced to spend more and more time together since his owner was overseas and Shibaki can practically care for himself, they soon formed a certain bond they still couldn't quite explain until that one time in the bathtub that changed it all. They soon realized their feelings for each other, a bigger shock on Gorell's part since he never thought he would meet someone that he would be willing to really risk his life for and wanted to be with until the very end. Shibaki (his name was still the same since, at some kind of coincidence, that name just seemed to pop into his owner's head) on the other hand was simply just happy with having someone he could spend his whole life with since, well, he has very simple desires in life. The two began living together shortly after and soon even got married, also having a child named Alois through a magical cake that impregnates the person with the baby of the last person he has slept with. In Shibaki's case, that was Gorell. At present, he and Gorell are living quite happily with their son without knowing of the fate the poor kemonomimi was destined for. Unaware to all, Shibaki won't live beyond the age of 28 as he would suddenly get sick with an incurable fever and die after a week of getting it. His spirit would then finally be escorted to heaven, heavily guarded with heaven's soldiers everywhere and, when someone on behalf of heaven apologizes for all the trouble he Shibaki has gone through, the boy would just shake his head and smile, saying that it was no trouble at all and that he lived "A short but...very happy life" and there was nothing else he would have wanted but a few more years which, he couldn't be graced with because of how overdue his soul was in its destination to heaven.
